Gannawarra Shire Council’s 2019 Annual Report, which includes the organisation’s official financial and performance record for 2018/19, is now available to view.
Council submitted its 2019 Annual Report to the Minister for Local Government at the end of September 2019, with the document noted by Council at its October Ordinary Meeting of Council.
“Council’s 2019 Annual Report celebrates 12 months of achievements for Council and the Gannawarra’s residents,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.
The 2019 Annual Report features a range of information about the Gannawarra Shire and Council’s achievements during 2018/19. It also includes a variety of photographs and images which showcase the region and community support and services delivered by Council to the community.
“These achievements include Council’s successful registration as a National Disability Insurance Scheme provider, as well as sustainable and community engagement projects being recognised at a State and National level,” Mayor Learmonth said.
“The document also highlights the completion of a number of major capital works projects. These include the first two stages of the Koondrook CBD redevelopment, the replacement of Sampson’s Bridge, the creation of Kerang’s new open space precinct and the redevelopment of the Leitchville Pre-School.”
Hard copies of Council’s 2019 Annual Report are available from Council’s Customer Service Centres at Cohuna and Kerang.
The document can also be viewed online.
