Add your event to the Tourism Events Autumn and Winter 2020 brochure

Community groups and organisations hosting tourism events between March 2020 and August 2020 are encouraged to promote their activities in the 2020 edition of the Tourism Events Autumn and Winter brochure.
 
The brochure promotes annual events held throughout the Gannawarra during autumn and winter, ranging from performances, art exhibitions, community events and sporting competitions. The brochure also highlights regular monthly events, including Cohuna and Kerang parkrun and monthly markets at Cohuna, Kerang and Murrabit.
 
“Whether it is the Cohuna Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Society Show, ski racing at Lake Charm, the Black Swan Paddling Race and events held during the Easter long weekend, there are a variety of events for everyone to enjoy between March and August 2020,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.
 
“Council’s tourism and events team has worked with the numerous community groups and organisations located within the Gannawarra to develop this brochure, which is a major promotional tool for locals and visitors to the area.”
 
Copies of the Tourism Events Guide will be available from Council’s Customer Service Centres at Cohuna and Kerang; the Gateway to Gannawarra Visitor Centre at Cohuna; Gannawarra Library Service branches at Cohuna, Kerang and Leitchville; and numerous tourism and business facilities located throughout the Gannawarra.
 
“If your group or organisation would like their event to be considered for the Tourism Events Autumn and Winter brochure, please visit www.gsc.vic.gov.au/add_your_event by Thursday, 23 January to submit your event details,” Mayor Learmonth said.
