Autumn, Easter fun at your local library
Published on 17 March 2025
Families will be able to experience two weeks of activities this April thanks to the Gannawarra Library Service’s school holiday program.
Five free activities will be on offer between Tuesday, 8 April and Thursday, 17 April at the service’s Cohuna and Kerang branches, catering for children of all ages.
“The Gannawarra Library Service’s school holiday program is a popular way for families to spend time together whilst completing various activities,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.
“This school holiday’s program is no exception, with autumn and Easter craft events that will keep local families and visitors to the Gannawarra entertained.”
The holiday fun will begin at Kerang’s Sir John Gorton Library on Tuesday, 8 April at 10.30am, where children will be able to make their own bookmark.
An arty leaf collage session will occur at the Sir John Gorton Library on Friday, 11 April from 10.30am, with a placemat making workshop occurring at the same venue on Monday, 14 April from 10.30am.
The program will wrap up with Easter egg basket making and egg hunt sessions occurring at the Cohuna Library on Wednesday, 16 April from 10.30am and the Sir John Gorton Library on Thursday, 17 April from 10.30am.
Bookings for all activities are essential, with all children participating to be accompanied by an adult. For bookings or for more information, visit the Events and Programs page at www.gsc.vic.gov.au/libraries or phone (03) 5452 1546.
