Free Christmas pool party

Residents are invited to spend the Friday night before Christmas at the Kerang Swimming Pool.

In what is to be the first of a number of activities planned for Gannawarra Shire Council’s pools for 2019/20, a free Christmas party will be held at the Shadforth Street site on Friday, 20 December from 5pm to 8pm.

Attractions on offer during the night include the pool inflatable in the main pool, a dunk tank and a sausage sizzle. The waterslide will also be open during the event.

“There will be something on offer for all ages at this party, with the attractions planned to complement the main pool, intermediate pool and the renowned Kerang Splash Park,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.

“I encourage residents to grab a picnic blanket and relax by the pool as part of a community celebration to mark the start of the holiday season.”
