Jude Perl - Live in Leitchville!

Award-winning performer, comedian Jude Perl is bringing her I Have a Face show to the Leitchville Memorial Hall on Friday, 4 June at 7.30pm.

Jude Perl’s insight into her personal mental health struggles of being an adult will make you want to sing along, cry and laugh all at once.

I Have a Face reminds us that we are not alone, with Jude to talk about some tough matters that will make you laugh and feel truly human. I Have a Face is a serious and hilarious discussion with a theatrical twist.

“We are proud to attract award-winning artists to the Gannawarra, and Jude Perl is no exception with her talent as a comedian and musician. This show addresses an important topic in a very creative way,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.

I Have a Face premiered at the 2018 Melbourne Fringe Festival, where it won the Best Cabaret award, and took out the Best Artiste award in the 2019 Green Room Awards.

The event will be the first hybrid performance presented by Creative Gannawarra, with the show at Leitchville Memorial Hall also being livestreamed for an online audience.

“The Leitchville community was looking forward to hosting this show last year, which was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions,” Mr O’Reilly said.

“We are fortunate to be able to offer the event this June, with a greater audience having the option to attend the show in-person or virtually.”

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 online, with bookings essential. For online ticket holders, a link to the livestreaming will be sent by email, along with all relevant information to view the performance prior the show.

Those attending the performance at Leitchville Memorial Hall will have a light supper provided by the Leitchville Memorial Hall Committee following the performance.  

“Those attending the event will be required to adhere to the COVID Safe plan in place. Most importantly, if you are not well, please stay at home.” Mr O’Reilly said.
