Local business owners wanting to learn how to create sales from their emails and build an online presence to increase revenue are encouraged to sign up for one of two free Gannawarra Shire Council-supported workshops.
The Bush Biz Boost program is hosting the Email Marketing workshops for the Gannawarra Shire on Monday, 28 June at the Exchange Hotel, Kerang and Wednesday, 30 June at CohunaCo.
“Designed for all business owners, no matter their experience, the workshops will provide business owners with the tools to build effective online communication skills that will help them keep customers continually informed and engaged, even when they can’t physically visit the store,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.
“The email marketing workshops will help invigorate businesses to further build their online presence and online customer engagement skills, of which many businesses have found to be a key asset throughout the previous year of unpredictable lockdowns and restrictions.”
Hosted by Bush Biz Boost founder, Amy Treacy, participants will learn how to use the popular automated email marketing tool, MailChimp and utilise its various tools to sell more products and attract more clients through emails.
Participants are required to supply their own laptop or tablet.
Bookings are essential, which can be done by emailing Scott Wishart at scott.wishart@gannawarra.vic.gov.au or phoning (03) 5450 9333 before Friday, 25 June.
