Mayoral Listening Post program continues

The 2020 Mayoral Listening Post program continues next week with Tragowel and district residents encouraged to participate.

In a first for the program, the Tragowel Hall will host a session in the annual program on Wednesday, July 29 between 1pm and 2pm.

“The Mayoral Listening Post program has been well received following its resumption after Coronavirus-related social distancing measures meant events initially planned for March and April had to be postponed,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.

“It is exciting to be hosting a session at the Tragowel Hall, which will give residents living at Tragowel and Macorna an opportunity to raise matters with their elected representatives.”

The 2020 program will conclude with sessions outside the Leitchville Bakery on Wednesday, 5 August between 11am and 12 noon and Cohuna’s Apex Park on Wednesday, 12 August between 11am and 12 noon.

“I encourage residents to visit one of these sessions and meet your fellow Councillors,” Mayor Learmonth said.
