Gannawarra Library Services’ popular Story Time program will be expanded as of this month, with sessions to be held at the Cohuna Library.

The first of Cohuna’s Story Time sessions will be held on Thursday, 7 March at 10.30am and will be held regularly on Thursdays during Victorian school terms.

“Story Time is a fun and sharing time where children their caregivers can establish a love of books and reading,” Gannawarra Library Service Manager, Kerri Sidorow said.

“Sessions run between 30 and 45 minutes, and include stories, rhymes and action songs, followed by a simple craft activity.”

The expansion of Story Time to Cohuna coincides with the recent creation of a children’s space at the Cohuna Library.

“The development of this space creates an area where children can play and explore the wonderful range of books and DVDs on offer,” Mrs Sidorow said.
