Families will be able to experience the fun and excitement of Gannawarra Library Service’s Summer School Holiday Program this January.

Following on from the introduction of the Kits4Kids activity packs to its program during 2020, families will be able to make their own creations at home.

“Last year showed just how important it is for children to have the opportunity to experience the joy of our library services, whether it is in person or remotely,” Gannawarra Shire Council Acting Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.

“From 4 January, families will be able to visit their local library branch and collect a Kits4Kids pack to create either a felt gnome, a macramé keyring or a floral headband.”

Meanwhile, the popular Summer Reading Club returns for 2021, with a family pass to TwistED Science Echuca up for grabs.

“Children aged six to 12 years will receive one entry each time they visit one of our library branches and borrow a book,” Mr Rollinson said.

“Each visit between 4-30 January can be recorded on the competition’s official bookmark, which can be collected from your local library branch.”

For more information on either of these programs, please phone the Gannawarra Library Service on (03) 5452 1546.
