Summer's end means outdoor pool opening hours change

Operating hours at Gannawarra Shire Council’s outdoor pools will change as of Sunday, 1 March 2020.

The Cohuna and Kerang swimming pools will revert to the autumn operating hours of 3pm to 7pm during March, with the waterslides at both venues operational between 3pm and 6pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Extended opening hours will be in place for Labour Day on Monday, 9 March, with both facilities open from 12 noon to 7pm.

“Spending the afternoon at one of the Gannawarra’s outdoor pools is a great way to cool down at this time of year,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.

Users of both facilities are reminded that Council’s pools will be closed on days when the temperature on the Bureau of Meteorology website is forecast to be 21 degrees Celsius or below the night before.

Both facilities will close for the 2019/20 season at 7pm on Tuesday, 31 March.
