Gannawarra Shire Council is pleased to announce ACE Radio’s The Morning Rush program will broadcast live from Cohuna’s Gateway to Gannawarra Visitor Centre on Tuesday, January 22.
Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said Council is looking forward to the opportunity to host the radio program and share the broadcast with local communities across Victoria.
“Council is excited to welcome program presenters John Vertigan and Kate Meade to the picturesque town of Cohuna, based on the banks of Gunbower Creek,” Mayor Learmonth said.
“We encourage as many community members as possible to come down to the Gateway to Gannawarra Visitor Centre between 6am and 8.30am and welcome our guests.”
The broadcast will highlight the Shire’s commercial and tourism activities along with liveability and relocation opportunities. The Mayor and Council staff will participate in the interviews.
“A free barbecue breakfast will be available from 7am for those in attendance,” Mayor Learmonth said.
Those not able to attend on the day will be able to hear the broadcast by tuning into AM radio station 1332 3SH.
