Gannawarra Shire Council is pleased to provide immunisations to the community during monthly morning sessions at Cohuna and Kerang, as well as an afternoon session at Kerang.
Bookings for these sessions are essential. To book, please phone (03) 5450 9333. Please note that all dates are subject to change.
Immunisations are also given to Year 7 and Year 10 students at secondary schools throughout the municipality. Adolescents of equivalent age who are no longer at school are also eligible for these vaccines, and can attend Council sessions.

Influenza vaccinations - important information
Influenza vaccines can be booked at Council’s monthly immunisation sessions.
Children aged 6 months to under 5 years, people with a medical condition and those over 65 years are eligible for free influenza vaccine. All other people will be required to pay for their vaccine.

The National Immunisation Program (NIP) Schedule is a series of immunisations given at specific times throughout your life. The immunisations range from birth through to adulthood.
All vaccines listed in the NIP Schedule are free.
Immunisations given in accordance with the NIP include protection against:
- Diphtheria
- Tetanus
- Whooping Cough
- Haemophilus Influenza B
- Poliomyelitis
- Hepatitis B
- Pneumococcal
- Rotavirus
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella
- Meningococcal ACW&Y
- Chicken Pox
- Influenza (for eligible individuals)
