Household glass bottle and jar recycling

Gannawarra Shire residents can recycle any household glass bottle and jars at its transfer stations and at the Koondrook Depot.

Thanks to funding from the State Government’s Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, designated glass recycling skip bins are located at the Cohuna, Kerang, Lalbert and Quambatook transfer stations. For information regarding transfer station locations and opening hours, please click here.

A skip bins is also located at the Koondrook Depot (View Street), which is accessible 24 hours each day.

All glass bottles and jars collected will be recycled and turned into new products, such as roads and construction materials.
