In accordance with Council Policy No. 141 – Public Transparency, the following documents are, or soon will be available on our website:
Reporting from Community Asset Committees to Council
Three Community Asset Committees were established by Council on 19 August 2020 (Community Halls, Leitchville War Memorial Swimming Pool and Quambatook Caravan Park).
Following receipt of a report from each Committee, the Local Government Act 2020 requires the CEO to submit an annual report to Council in relation to the activities and performance of each Community Asset Committee. The first such report was developed in 2021. Each report will be available for viewing in the relevant Council Agenda.
Audit and Risk Committee Performance Reporting
The Local Government Act 2020 requires an Audit and Risk Committee to undertake an annual assessment against its Charter and a biannual audit and risk report and provide a copy of those assessments and reports to the CEO for tabling at the next Council meeting. Annual assessments and biannual audits and risk reports will be available for viewing in the relevant Council Agenda.

Details of Delegated and Community Asset Committees
Council currently has no Delegated Committees, but has the following Community Asset Committees:
- Community Halls Community Asset Committee (consists representatives from the Dingwall, Gannawarra, Lake Charm, Myall, Koroop and Murrabit halls) - Established by Council resolution on 19 August 2020. Operates under CEO Sub-delegation dated 31 August 2020. The Committee has established Administrative Sub-Committees to manage the day to day operations and requirements of each of the six community halls.
- Leitchville War Memorial Swimming Pool Community Asset Committee - Established by Council resolution on 19 August 2020. Operates under CEO Sub-delegation dated 31 August 2020.
- Quambatook Caravan Park Community Asset Committee - Established by Council resolution on 19 August 2020. Operates under CEO Sub-delegation dated 31 August 2020.
Registers of gifts, benefits and hospitality offered to Councillors and Council staff

Summary of Personal Interest Returns
The Local Government Act 2020 requires Councillors and Nominated Officers of Gannawarra Shire Council to complete Personal Interest Returns. A Personal Interest Return must be completed within 30 days of the commencement in their role, and then biannually in March and September of each subsequent year.
The Victorian Government imposes penalties for false and incomplete information provided in any Personal Interest Return, and for failing to lodge the Personal Interest Return within the legislated timeframes.
Council is required to provide public access to a summary of the Personal Interest Returns, which have been lodged.
