Gannawarra Shire Council's Australia Day Awards recognise the contribution residents make to their communities.
Winners are announced the week leading up to Australia Day celebrations.

Nominations are now open for Council's 2025 Citizen and Young Person of the Year awards.
A highlight of Council's Australia Day celebrations, the awards are an opportunity to recognise those who do great things in the Gannawarra.
Nominations are sought for the following award categories:

2025 Gannawarra Shire Council Citizen of the Year: Open to residents aged 25 years and above as of Sunday, 26 January 2025.

2025 Gannawarra Shire Council Young Person of the Year: Open to residents aged 15-24 years as of Sunday, 26 January 2025.
